Over the past few years, the library has developed a BIT Curriculum to provide a shared reference point for the vertical alignment of information/inquiry skills and technology skills, serving as both guideline and synthesis to support instructional planning.
Based on feedback from teachers on our Books, Information and Technology curriculum, we created a document that identifies skills students should be well-versed in when they leave 4th grade. We choose to organize this around the 4Cs to better align with a structure teachers are familiar with.
This year, the library team will be incorporating the Common Sense Digital Literacy curriculum as well as the curriculum guide from Learning.com
