CCPCS Library & Innovation: Lost Books

All members of the Capital City PCS community are held accountable for lost or damaged books. When students lose books, they will have a fine on their library record. To clear this fine, you can do one of three things:

Pay off your fine

Pay off your fine

You can pay off your fine with:

  • Credit Card (no Discover)
  • Cash
  • Check made out to "Capital City Public Charter School"

After paying off your fine, you will receive a receipt of payment, and the fine will be cleared from your record. If you find and return the book to the library, you will be reimbursed for that payment.

Bring in another copy

Bring in another copy of the book

You can bring in another copy of the book. We will only accept the same titled book that you lost. You can find copies in your local book store, or online. Consider using the vendors below to replace a book.

Work off your fine with service

Work off your fine with service

You can work off your fine in the library. For every half hour worked, we write off $5 of your fine. So this means:

Owe $10 — Work 1 hour
Owe $20 — Work 2 hours
Owe $40 — Work 4 hours

You must schedule time to work with a librarian. To let us know when you are available, complete this form:
